Mary's Charity
A youthwork centre for St Mary’s Centre Community Trust in Primrose Hill.
St Mary’s Centre Community Trust is a charity dedicated to young people. Mary’s mentors and counsels young people aged 10-25 at risk of exclusion, gang exploitation and serious youth violence. The proposed building will create inspiring, dedicated spaces for the charity at the east end of the church. This will enable the charity to improve the quality of their service, and expand their ability to engage with similar organisations.
We developed a series of options, looking at the church as a whole, and have worked with the charity to design an appropriate new space for the important work of the charity at this busy church. Following an extensive options appraisal, the proposal to rebuild the 2008 St Mary’s Centre to the east of St Mary’s Church was chosen.
