Christ Church Spitalfields Organ
The restoration of the 1735 Richard Bridge organ in Christ Church Spitalfields.
We have worked with The Friends of Christ Church Spitalfields to project manage the restoration of the original Richard Bridge organ. The organ installed in the new church in 1735 is considered to be the masterpiece of the greatest organ builder in Georgian England, Richard Bridge.
Our role was to manage the project and co-ordinate the many experts involved in the restoration, overseeing their programme and costs, as well as writing specifications for the decoration of the organ case.
