Corpus Christi Church

The refurbishment of the listed J.F. Bentley church in Brixton.

We have been managing the refurbishment programme of this Brixton church designed by J.F. Bentley, architect of Westminster Cathedral. The church is listed and has involved applicatons for planning permission, listed building consent, and faculties from the Historic Churches Commission and the Diocese.

The work has included a new heating system, redecoration, re-carpeting and the remodelling of some areas, including the creation of a new lady chapel, as well as a new lighting installation by Mindseye. The work has been phased around an ongoing fund-raising scheme.
